Liz Roberts will be exhibiting her Always Nowhere video sculpture. The Always Nowhere video sculpture is a video sculpture that transposes car windows for screens, evoking the dualities that occur while riding in a car
“We are together but alone, sitting still but moving, passive but active – through the inherently cinematic experience of driving.”
The automobile becomes a stage on which romanticized dreams of the open road are projected via multi-channel video while an audio narrative explores the effects these delusions have on our collective psyche.
We wish Liz Roberts the best of luck with her participation in the ArtPrize competition!
