Carmen Winant‘s artist book, “My life as a Man” has just been released by Horses Think Press and will be available for purchase at the LA Art Book Fair. The book, which depicts a single collage deconstructing and rearranging its composition, also features original text contributions from Matthew Brannon, Moyra Davey, Courtney Fiske, Jim Fletcher, Kenneth Goldsmith, Jonathan Griffin, Geoffrey Hilsabeck, Michael Ned Holte, Sarah McMenimen, Anna Livia, Alexander Provan, Ross Simonini and John Yau.

Carmen will also be doing a classroom event on Friday January 30th during the fair from 2-3PM. The short performative lecture will engage and enact questions of collage, montage, feminism, stamina and failure.

Also! If you are in NYC on March 5th, there will be a release for the book at Printed Matter (in addition to a window installation).

If you happen to be in LA or NYC stop by and join Carmen for the release of her new book!

The book may be purchased (soon) on the Horses Think Press site, or, as of March, at Printed Matter in New York.
