Jessica Durant is a SCAD graduate with her BFA in Sequential Art, and specializes in making vibrant and creative comics with her unique style. She also creates a wide variety of storyboards, illustrations, and conceptual work. Her work is often inspired by stories and experiences from current and past events in her own life, drawing important themes and issues into her plots so that her viewers can better connect with them.
She can often be found working hard in her studio at DSB, and exploring campus or the surrounding city.
Jessica is a first-year MFA student here at CCAD, majoring in Visual Arts so she can push herself further in her skills as a sequential artist, but also so she can explore the possibilities Animation can offer. She’s truly excited to have been accepted to CCAD, and looks forward to the challenges and growth she expects to see in the future.
